Report, UK Citizen Chris Garrett: War Criminal

An Austrian man who fought for the Ukraine side in Donbass has been arrested in Poland, for war crimes committed in Donbass. However, a British man, Chris Garrett, has gone for more than 2 years unpunished, for offences just as bad. Here is a brief report, more to come soon.

Name: Chris Garrett

AKA: Swampy

D.O.B: 1984

From: Isle of Man

Crime: Served with Ukraine’s neo-Nazi Azov battalion, responsible for mass war crimes in Donbass, from October 2014 to April 2015. Is now back serving for Ukraine in Donbass (see below).

Evidence:  His own testimony, in interview. ‘Chris Garrett, a 31-year-old British tree surgeon, knows what it’s like to shoot a man dead.’

Video of Garrett in Donbass: Mariupol after shelling, January 24th, 2015 –

Supporting video: My interview with Ben Stimson, British man arrested in the UK for serving with people’s militia in Donbass, despite never firing a shot in anger there –

Background to Garrett: (from Newsweek, April 2015)

His dream since the age of 12, when he first joined the Army Cadet Force—a voluntary youth organization set up by the British army and Ministry of Defense—was to be a soldier. At 16, he left school and enrolled in Britain’s Army Foundation College, which trains 16- and 17-year-olds to become future soldiers. While at the college, he suffered a serious physical attack, details of which Garrett prefers not to discuss. The assault prompted him to cut short his service and return home. He never achieved his goal of becoming a soldier. On December 29, 2003, Garrett attempted to rob a gas station and was subsequently convicted and imprisoned for 19 months. His criminal record ruined his chances of joining the British army or from getting private security work. An injury that shattered his left heel ruled out the French Foreign Legion—the French army’s legendary force made up of foreign nationals.

In 2008, he made his way to the border of Thailand and Myanmar to join the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA), a rebel group whose goal is to establish an autonomous state in Myanmar for the ethnic Karen people. Garrett bounced between his home on Britain’s Isle of Man and Myanmar. He assisted with training, rebuilding projects and land mine clearance, but fighting wasn’t an option. Then, in August 2014, a friend in Ukraine, whom he had met online, suggested that he join the battalions there. “When I realized everything in Ukraine had kicked off,” Garrett says, “I thought, I’m in the right mindset; I might as well go.” He didn’t expect to be involved in fighting, but Garrett did think he could help with removing munitions.’

Current location: Believed to be Donbass again, as per this photo posted on April 22nd, on his own Facebook account.

Poroshenko Arrives into London

What must be pretty much the last thing you want if you’re Theresa May? You’ve just announced a snap General Election, you’ve got literally a million things to do. And, there it is – a pre-arranged visit by Ukraine’s often inebriated, always crazy, president, Poroshenko. And you just know he’s not going to say ‘Theresa, you must be up to your neck at the moment another time?’ Petr’s got his invite, he’s coming!

What to expect? Will it be waving Russian passports around, waving bits of a bus around? Accusing Putin of killing the pharaoh (Poroshenko recently claimed Putin used the London terrorist attacks of March 22nd to murder someone on the sly in Kiev, no less).

Well, let’s see. Poroshenko arrives into London tomorrow.

General Election in the UK: My Statement on actions regarding that

Theresa May has just called a snap election for June 8th, of this year.

As you know, I love reporting from the UK, however I’m committed to working in Serbia for now, then Donbass, and Crimea, in this time, and I will fulfill those commitments.

In the past, I’ve supported – and openly – certain politics, or political parties in the UK, for example, I voted UKIP at the 2015 General Election, and was more than open about that, as I believed that we needed a referendum on EU membership.

Before that,  I’d generally inclined towards the Conservative Party. However, the actions of the Conservative Party in respect of Donbass, and not only, mean that I cannot, and do not support them now.

I support the best possible government for the UK, which will deliver, for the country I love, good relationships with Europe, Russia, and the world, and make Great Britain a country which does good in the world.

A Graham Newsletter (#28) Leaving London, Remembering Terrorism in London

I’ve recently left London, and am now on the road, with lots of new reportage to come – all 100% independent, supported only by your crowdfunding (click here for details).  I am already preparing the next video of thanks for those who have made a significant contribution.

The period in London was hugely productive, of which you can more read about by clicking here.

Sadly, it included a tragic terrorist attack, and I recently published the 2nd part of my special reportage on this –

This was followed by a tragic update, as the death toll rose to five.

For my full reportage on events of March 22nd, 2017, and on, click here.

Deepest condolences, and thoughts, with all victims of this tragedy, and, of course, we know that terror has hit not only London.

I’ve now left the UK, am on the road, and will be bringing you more reportage soon.

London Terrorist Attack: Video Reportage, and a Tragic Update

Here is my video reportage from the March 22nd terrorist attack in London –

Part 1:

Part 2:

After this, tragically, it was tragically confirmed there has been another victim of the attack, 31-year-old Romanian Andreea Cristea.

BBC Propaganda Called Out #1 ‘Everyone’s leaving after Brexit’

The BBC’s position on Brexit has been as clear from the start as it is to this day – completely opposed to it, all their coverage unswervingly biased against it.

So, perhaps it’s no surprise that the recent BBC article entitled ‘The Foreign Workers Leaving Britain because of Brexit’ is in exactly the same vein. Propaganda. And more, easily called out propaganda. Let’s have a look at the article, which gives an extremely favourable account of several EU citizens who’ve come to the UK, lived the dream etc etc, and now all want to leave due to Brexit.

Katarina Karmazinova came to London aged 24 to study European business. Attracted, she says, by the UK’s multiculturalism and openness, the Slovakian….

Katarina Karmazinova moved to London from Slovakia but sold her flat and moved overseas after the EU referendum vote

Karmazinova is not the only immigrant who feels this way since the referendum vote – the BBC propagandaarticle goes on in a similar vein, appealing photo of Karmazinova etc – Some are simply considering leaving and waiting it out for now. Others have already left, returning home, going somewhere else within the EU, or decamping to a different continent altogether.

It is too early to tell if Brexit’s upheaval could be partially responsible for fewer foreigners choosing the UK as a destination, but net migration to the UK did fall by 49,000 to 273,000 in the year to September 2016, according to the Office for National Statistics.

And next we’re on to undue focus on a website with actually a staggeringly low level
of take-up
, given the near 9-million foreign born citizens in the UK (and another sympathetic photo, of course).

After getting over the “shock” of the UK’s decision to leave the EU, 33-year-old Marcin BBC propaganda 1Czyza got the idea for an online recruitment firm to help people, especially foreign nationals, who were suddenly considering career opportunities outside of the UK…. Within a few months, interest in the site took off. There are more than 1,200 registered candidates. Roughly 90% of them are foreigners living in the UK, with the majority originating from Germany, France, Poland, Italy, Spain, and Portugal.

Here, not even photo of the person, so we’ll just have to take the BBC’s word that he exists, and said all this, predictable patter –

When Dariusz Truchel emigrated to Britain from Poland in 2005, he did so with the idea that he would find “better job possibilities”. Once settled outside of London, he worked as a project manager and took a number of health and safety courses, eventually setting up his own health and safety consultancy. Truchel even bought a house.

So the inevitable fairytale, of course, the crashing post-Brexit comedown…

But after Brexit, Truchel, 34, began feeling pessimistic about the future. He began noticing a new attitude among people who had voted to separate from the EU. “It is hard to describe this atmosphere because nobody dares to say it to your face, but there is a feeling of being an uninvited guest,” he says. He registered on Expat Exit and is now seriously considering leaving the UK.

And there’s another example, in a similar note, again no photo, and this time, ’32-year-old Romanian Alex’, only eve wants his first name revealed. Another pre-Brexit fairytale ‘all wrecked by Brexit etc etc.’

BBC propaganda 2And, just to wrap things up, we have another nice photo of  Karmazinova)
, who now ‘spends her time travelling while she decides where she will settle… Karmazinova, the Slovakian who left the UK, has yet to decide where she will settle – but she knows it won’t be back in the UK as long it stays separated from the EU. ‘

And it goes on for a bit in that vein, before concluding in, well the same vein, without even the slightest attempt to introduce anything approaching another side. So, nothing about the millions, and millions of foreign workers in the UK planning to stay, I even found some on the pro-EU March for Europe, they may not have liked Brexit, but nor were they planning on leaving. Nor anything about the murderers, rapists, and violent criminals which the UK couldn’t deport under EU rules.

But then that’s the BBC, nothing if not the most relentless of propaganda!

My UK Reportage: A Wrap-up!

As  prepare to leave – it’s been an enormously busy last 2 months in the UK, working on the edits of documentary projects, dozens of articles here on the Truth Speaker, and video reportage. There will be one more report to come from the UK, part 2 of this special reportage on the recent terrorist attack in London –

To recap, here was January when I visited the UK parliament to ask at a UK/Ukraine event if they would be mentioning Ukrainian shelling civilian areas of Donbass:

The introduction to my documentary about the murder of Barry Pring

My coverage of the anti-Trump protests in London at the start of February –

A few days later, and I try to go to a Ukrainian event in London –

And here, I succeed in getting into a Ukrainian propaganda event at the LSE!

The end of February here, and I visit the Ukrainain Embassy in London –

March, and a look at what Women’s Day means in London!

Then, my day as a DPR tourist in London!

Masses of reportage from the March for Europe on March 25th –

And even a trip to Scotland to bring you the reality there of how people feel about a proposed new referendum!

It’s overall achieved hundreds of thousands of views, on my channel alone, coverage in mass media – and much more! I’m a completely crowdfunded journalist, and none of this would have been possible without your support. To be involved, click here!

Thanks again, and on we go!!
